MSA Architects, a design firm with over 25 years of experience in architecture, interior design, planning, and environmental graphics, is looking for enthusiastic, talented individuals with a “get it done” attitude for our dynamic Downtown Cincinnati studio environment.
All candidates must possess excellent design and building planning abilities, presentation and communication skills, and experience in the technical design and construction methods of a variety of building types. Candidates will be evaluated on their abilities in knowledge of architectural design and technical execution, graphics programs, CADD and Revit competency, 3D computer modeling skills, and their passion about architecture and design. Experience with best practices in sustainable design is a plus. Presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills are highly considered for all candidates.
Project Managers / Project Architects – Multiple Positions: Licensed with minimum 5 years experience. Applicants must have the ability to take the lead on a project with other architects, interior designers and graphic designers within the firm and be able to confidently work with clients and consultants. These positions involve development and refinement of design and planning concepts in a team environment including deliverables for design presentations. These positions also require the ability to execute projects through design development, technical construction documentation and construction contract administration. Active professional license in Ohio, Kentucky or Indiana or the ability to achieve reciprocity through NCARB is required.
Project Designer: Architectural degree and a minimum of 3 years experience. Applicants should possess some expertise in the technical design and construction methods of a variety of building types. IDP/registration track and prior experience will be considerations in the evaluation of candidates
Interior Designer: Bachelors degree in interior design and a minimum of 5 years professional office experience with focus on commercial, educational, hospitality and retail design. Collaborate on commercial interior design projects including programming of client needs; conceptual, schematic and design development of the program; and coordination of finish plans, specifications and material selections as required for construction. Strong space planning, presentation, organizational, coordination and relationship management skills a must.
