MSA provided full architectural services for 75,000 sf of renovations and 12,000 sf of additions to the High School. The existing building required a comprehensive reorganization/renovation strategy to reconfigure existing interior spaces and provide a series of additions to selected areas of the building to maximize program needs. A series of “community design forums” were held with the various parent/teacher groups to develop a consensus as to how to reorganize the building. At each stage of design, individual teaching teams were consulted to develop design solutions. This project included coordination/ cooperation with Ohio School Facilities Commission (OSFC) and PCS-Regency, a state contracted construction manager. Project budget was achieved by a combination of state funding and local bond issues.
