MSA led the efforts to develop a new campus master plan to transform this 1970’s era industrial-style building into a state-of-the-art educational campus. As a result, a new campus gateway element and entry/gathering space addition were developed to affirm the Great Oaks branded identity along the commercial corridor of Harrison Avenue in western Cincinnati.
In addition to the new main entry lobby & administration area, the front of the building has been transformed through the addition of a long classroom/lab wing with entry canopy, and the interior of the building now focuses around a large Cybrary space adjacent to the new Student Commons. The Student Commons is perched on a high point in the campus with views across the wooded hillsides of the township.
Expanded core curriculum spaces were renovated and construction throughout the building, including space for Cosmetology, Early Childhood Development, Practical Nursing, Health Sciences, Biotech Forensic Sciences, Culinary Arts, and Information Technology. The renovation of the campus is being phased over three years.
