MSA has a decade-long relationship with this private 800 student girls high school in the northern Cincinnati suburb of Reading, on the campus of the Mother House of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur Religious Order. We have completed a long-term facilities Master Plan for the school which identified deficiencies in Classroom space, Science Areas, Administration Space, Circulation sequences through the existing building, and the need for a Student ‘Commons’ area for multi-purpose use.
MSA is implementing Phase I of the Master Plan which includes a series of additions to the existing 1966 main building that will be connected to a gymnasium addition. A 15,000 sf three-story addition to the front of the school will contain a new Main Entry, Administration/ Guidance Suite, Science Classrooms, and General Classrooms. A three-story Atrium space is being planned for Phase II at the rear of the building to provide a new Student Commons space for presentations, activities, and casual interaction, and to improve life safety egress through the building.
