This project focused on a new lobby with a facility check-in and operations desk. MSA’s programming study identified patterns of use, effective traffic patterns, improved patron relations, and developed a new aesthetic for the Recreation Center. A check-in desk will be located adjacent to the center of the “Membership-Required” areas. New flooring and new signage to assist in patron way-finding throughout the entire facility is also included. The interior renovation of the recreation center will result in a warm, cohesive aesthetic that blends the existing interior elements seamlessly with the new colors and materials used in the design of the desks, flooring, and signage.
