New Construction and Renovation

City of Fairborn Fire Department

Fairborn, Ohio

The City of Fairborn first hired MSA to conduct a Facilities Master Plan for its local Fire Department. The space needs analysis determined that the two existing fire stations needed to be renovated and that two new stations needed to be built. The two new stations, designed by MSA, will accommodate the City’s fire needs for the next 30 years. One of the new stations is located in an expanding area of Fairborn in order to improve and provide more desireable response times. In addition to the standard programmatic elements, this station includes a training tower and a 50-person community room. Renovations to the two existing stations include individual sleeping quarters, updated restroom and shower facilities, new clean room spaces, additional fire/EMS storage spaces and community policing areas.
