MSA is providing design services for the City’s new police and court facility to accommodate a projected 5-10% population growth during the next 15 years. Fairfield’s Police Department and court staff are projected to grow as well, going to 83 sworn officers (from 67 currently) and a total staff of 120. The Justice Center will be part of a mixed-use development located on a high-traffic corner in downtown Fairfield. The site was chosen to accommodate not only the needs of the justice center, but also the future needs of the remaining city administrative departments. The site and building are designed so that future building additions and/or expansions are possible.
