Clermont County retained MSA to provide master planning and design services to address the county’s current emergency operations center. The main focus for this project was addressing the needs of the county’s IT Department and the Emergency Operations Center. MSA evaluated the current facility in terms of compliance with OEMA and FEMA regulations. MSA also addressed related building code and construction issues as they related to case hardened construction vs. “non-case hardened” design components. MSA reviewed issues associated with telephone, PBX, and county voicemail systems. The work associated with radio systems included VHF, UHF, and 800 mhz systems. This was also coordinated with CADD and mobile data computers utilized in emergency vehicles.
