The West Licking Joint Fire District has retained MSA to assist the department in preparing an initial facilities assessment and to identify potential alternative site/location options, timelines and associated costs with executing the Master Plan. The Master Plan Study explores multiple design options in order to solve a wide range of needs in the long and short terms. It allows the Building Committee to make intelligent and informed decisions based on a variety of gathered data and statistics. The Master Plan will look at the pros and cons of building renovations vs. new construction of single and/or multiple buildings; the analysis will also review several site options. Map development will locate three potential fire station sites as directed by the client along with associated response times. These options will be reviewed for future subdivision development within the District based upon projections of 1-5 years, 5-10 years and 10-20 years. Once MSA has completed the planning process, we will begin to methodically evaluate several concept options. These options will be combined with schematic construction costs and a descriptive cost/benefit analysis.
