The design and construction of this new recreational facility is aimed at creating a new neighborhood for the surrounding community. The Jewish Community Center will serve as a senior center, an arts and culture facility, a park, a physical fitness center, a day spa, a school, a cafe, a meetingplace and a religious institution. The facility is built around the concept of wellness – physically and emotionally with social and educational opportunities available to all age groups. An outdoor courtyard leads to an art gallery and an 800-seat theater, available for movies, speakers, and concerts. The fitness portion will offer members a raised track, yoga and pilates classes, spinning, and many other cardio and weightlifting opportunities. Other amenities include massage therapy in the day spa and private, state-of-the-art mens’ and womens’ locker rooms.
