To consolidate and modernize its decentralized and outdated training infrastructure, the City of Cincinnati Fire Department selected MSA Design to lead the planning and design of a new, multi-phase Fire Training Center. For years, the department had operated out of multiple temporary and undersized facilities—limiting its ability to recruit, train, and retain personnel.

Key site elements include a new Class A burn tower, tactical and EOD training areas, driver training courses, and realistic training props designed to simulate emergency response conditions. The design balances high performance with durability and civic pride—creating a campus that projects the strength and professionalism of the department while supporting practical training and remote learning needs for future generations of firefighters.
