Xavier University
Project Description

MSA Design has been working with Xavier University for over 15 years on a variety of design projects including campus master planning, building renovations, and new construction – with programs inclusive of administration spaces, academic spaces, and athletic spaces.

Xavier University approached MSA Design with the intent of renovating one of the remaining areas within the Cintas Center that had not been addressed / modified since the facility opened in 2000.

Improvements to the Interior

Improvements were needed for the interior of both the existing Conference Level and Banquet Hall within the Cintas Center. The renovations focus was primarily on the public areas, conference rooms, circulation paths, and assembly spaces within these two locations. The scope was inclusive of new interior finishes for floors and walls, new window treatments, and new furniture.

Results of the Renovation

This project resulted in a contemporary renovation of areas within the Cintas Center that are considered “the front door” for many of the University’s visitors. This project successfully addressed interior spaces that are among the most public on the campus. The project was ultimately delivered by the design team in a fast-tracked fashion, working side by side with the primary contractor - inclusive of concept design, technical documents, and construction administration support.
