MSA served as lead architect and designer for the complete transformation of a central K-12 campus for this 2100 student district north of Columbus, Ohio. The $45 million master plan included a number of significant projects including: A new High School building designed for 650 students, a conversion and complete renovation of the existing High School into a new Middle School for 500 students, and renovations/additions to the existing Elementary building to accommodate 950 students. In addition to the main school buildings, MSA developed a comprehensive 20 year master plan for the Highland Campus that involved a stadium renovation/expansion, maintenance and service area, as well as better connections to an existing private park and athletic facility. The project is LEED Silver, and was finished on-time and below budget. The new Highland High School was recognized by the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission as an exemplary example of “21st Century Learning” in the State of Ohio.
